Reid Sohn RS 112 upright piano - Gloss mahogany with inlay
Absolutely stunning Reid Sohn (Samick) 112cm upright piano finished in Gloss Mahogany with a detailed wood inlay on the top and bottom panels. These really enhance the look of her compared to a plain piano, just come and take a look and you will see what a difference it makes. In a shop of mostly gloss black pianos she really stands out because she is gorgeous 🥰.
She plays and sounds like a much more expensive piano. It has a bright tone but not artificially bright like some of the smaller upright models you can get. She has a medium touch action which is in as new condition. In our opinion this feels a little bit above some of the other Far Eastern made compact pianos. All the brass work is bright and it benefits from a middle practice pedal to quieten the piano for some midnight practice. We are able to play most types of music on her and sounds more rounded than some of our larger pianos.

Unlike many sellers we are honest and open in our descriptions so as well as listing all the great things about the piano we also like to point out any stand out marks or details so you know exactly what to expect when your piano arrives.Please bear in mind that most gloss finish pianos will have very fine micro scratches in the polyester / polish from dusting and this is pretty much unavoidable. We have NEVER seen a piano without micro scratches.
This particular piano is in good condition throughout. There are a few blemishes around which most other sellers would say is normal wear and tear but we prefer to point these out. The main mark is on the front right leg front which has a scratch across it. There are a few touch ups right at the bottom of the left foot. The left leg has a couple of faint scratches on it and a touch up on the top of the left leg base. Someone has added page holders to the music stand (aarrrggghhhhh) which they drill into and as always it chips the polyester. Why people do that is beyond us as you can get a pair of Katz clips which just slide on. We can include a set of these which will replace the existing page holders and cover the holes if you require. Without these blemishes this piano would be £2200 so a good saving and when you look at the overall photos they aren’t really that noticeable.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY
If you are unhappy with, or change your mind about your purchase within the first 30 days you are welcome to return it, at your cost, for a full refund as long as it arrives back at Rowlandson pianos in the same condition as it left. Pianos are a big piece of furniture and are neither cheap or easy to move around and we suggest that we can, at your cost, collect the item or you are welcome to make your own arrangements to return it but we do advice a specialist transport company and can usually recommend someone local to yourselves.
DELIVERY INFO
Delivery is charged at £1 per mile using google maps from our base at WF10 3QZ. We do this so you can quickly and easily work out the delivery charges. We transport our own pianos but we do work with other respectable piano moving companies who cover other areas and if they can deliver the piano to you cheaper than ourselves we will happily use their services and pass on the savings to yourselves. Collection is also welcome and we are happy to help with loading if needed but we do advise the use of a specialist piano moving company
